The constant progression of the world traffic (+ 50% in ten years) did not prevent the airline companies from knowing one black period at the beginning of decade 90.After these difficult years, the horizon of air transport clearly emerged as from 1995.With the beginning of the year 2000, the attacks of September 2001 in the United States will involve a beginning of crisis in the world of tourism and will push many companies, already badly in point, with quasi a bankruptcy.
Years 2000 are also those where we will see appearing companies of a new kind, the companies “low-cost” from which the economic model is completely different from the traditional companies.These airline companies will experience a strong development with the startup of very many connections.In 2008, important upheaval in the world of air transport with the blaze of the oil price which reduces the activity of many companies. Some are brought to disappear and if this new crisis of oil does not find an exit quickly, we can expect deep changes in the air world.
The manufacturers will have to compete of imagination in order to envisage, for the future, means of transport not only respectful of the environment but also completely innovating to face this problem of the fuels.The environment is indeed a subject from now on present at the daily newspaper, the warming of planet forcing us to adopt a model of life different from that which we could know until now.Air transport cannot be excluded from this reflexion insofar as it contributes, significantly, with the emission of gases with greenhouse effect.Organized by association End of World (ABM) Ventures, first French club travellers, the demonstration is awaited by more than 10.000 people coming from all France.
